Downtown Chicago is accessible from either O'Hare or Midway Airports. O'Hare is approximately 45 minutes to the hotel; Midway is approximately 30 minutes. Rush hour and congestion may significantly increase these times. Both airports are serviced by CTA Metra train service, taxis, and airport shuttle service. More information is available at ChicagoAirports.com

Continental Airport Express

Continental Airport Express provides shuttle service for guests of Hyatt Regency Chicago. The shuttle may be picked up curbside in the "ground transportation" areas at both O'Hare and Midway Airports. They depart regularly from both airports, pending full vans. 312-454-7800 or 1-800-654-7871.

Return shuttles to both airports may be picked up from the West Tower Lobby.

The O'Hare shuttle may be picked up at five minutes and thirty-five minutes after every hour, beginning at 6:05 a.m. and ending at 6:05 p.m. The cost is $24.00 per person one-way, and $44.00 per person round trip. If traveling outside these times call to make a reservation.

The Midway shuttle may be picked up at fifteen minutes and forty-five minutes after every hour, beginning at 6:15 a.m. and ending at 6:15 p.m. The cost is $19.00 per person one-way, and $34.00 per person round trip. If traveling outside these times call to make a reservation.

Please note that the shuttle will stop at other hotels en route to and from the airport.

Public Transportation

To get to and from O'Hare you can take the Blue Line on the CTA and the cost is $1.75 each way. The closet stop to the hotel is at Clark and Lake, about a 6 block walk or $5 cab ride. To walk, exit the station and walk east on Lake (following the elevated tracks) to Michigan Ave. Turn left onto Michigan and walk north to Wacker Dr. Do not cross over the Chicago River bridge. Turn right onto Wacker heading east. Turn right onto Stetson St. and enter the hotel's East Tower. Proceed up the escalator to the Front Desk for registration.

To get to and from Midway you can take the Orange Line on the CTA and the cost is $1.75 each way. The closet stop to the hotel is at State and Lake, about a 4 block walk or $4 cab ride. .

To access the CTA in both airports, follow the signs in the airport directing you to "CTA." Only one line leaves from each airport (Midway = Orange and O'Hare = Blue) and only runs in one direction, so you cannot get on the wrong train. You must purchase a CTA pass using the kiosk at the station - use this pass to gain access through the turn-styles.
