- Enterprise Architectures and IT Governance

- "Green" Computing
- Showcasing Open Source Applications
- Helpdesk, ServiceDesk and Issue Tracking Implementations

Parallel Sessions
Each presentation should be 45 minutes in length, including questions and answers. After you have been notified that your proposal has been accepted (which will be no later than Apr 15), please prepare your PowerPoint presentation. If prepared on a non-Windows computer, please test your presentation on a Windows XP system with PowerPoint 2007.
Your presentation will be loaded onto the computer located in the room where you will be giving your presentation. As a backup, please bring your presentation on a CD as well as on hardcopy overhead slides.
A Windows XP computer with PowerPoint 2007, projector and screen will be in each room for parallel sessions. If you need other equipment, please contact the NLIT 2008 Team at nlit08@nlit08.org. Due to the short period of time between sessions, the NLIT 2008 Team appreciates your cooperation in using the equipment that is already set up in each room instead of your own equipment.
Poster Sessions
Based on the equipment available for the poster sessions, we are recommending that the poster be 40 inches in height by 60 inches in width. The poster should be made of ordinary posterboard, and then laminated. Velcro should be attached to the back of the poster so that it can be attached to the fabric front of the background board, which will be provided.
